Naas Botha

We all know Hendrik Egnatius Botha as Naas Botha. He was born on the 27 February 1958 in Breyton. He played 28 test for the Springboks, scored 312 point - believe it or not it included 2 test tries.
The English press called him "Nasty Booter" - he could kick equally well with both feet - that's left and right.
Doc Craven said: "Give me Naas and I'll conquer the world."

Now I surfed the web to find something about Naas Botha. All I could find was him either place kicking or drop kicking the ball. There was one video of him actually passing the ball - not one of him making a tackle. But then to my amazement I found the one thing that Naas Botha did to improve all man kind.

And to conclude Leon Schuster said: "Their is only one Nasie, and that is Nasie Botha"

Welcome

Hi
I have decided to create this blog for all rugby fans, although I'm a BIG Springbok, Stormers and Western Province fan, this will not only be dedicated to them but to all rugby supporters. OK, I might be a bit one sided at times.
This will also not be the normal rugby sites with logs, and all the stuff you normally see on sport sites. No, I want it to be for us. When you having a braai (barbecue for those overseas) and you talking the normal rugby talk after the game and someone mentions Duan Vermeulen throwing Aaren Smith like an old rag over his shoulder, and their is the one guy that says "Great let's find it on you tube and watch it." It will be on this blog.
In case you missed it here it is.

As I post videos, I will also post them on the all new Just About Rugby you tube channel. So if you don't like my comments and stuff that I write you can subscribe to the channel and only see the movies their. Just About Rugby.

So hold on and enjoy, by the way I said would not be one sided, but as a big Western Province fan my next post will be about Naas Botha - I have to get this one out of the way.

See you at the game!
